Q: What is Swan Open Studios?

A: Swan Open Studios is an annual event where local artists open their studios to the public. It's a chance to meet artists, see their workshops, view their creations up close and even purchase original pieces directly.

A: The event typically takes place over two weekends in autumn / winter. Please check the official website or brochure for specific dates and opening times.

A: Studios are located throughout the City of Swan. You can find a map of all participating artists and studio locations in the brochure or on our website.

A: No - entry to all participating studios is free of charge.

A: No booking is required - just turn up during th published opening hours of each studio. Some artists do have days that they prefer you make an appointment - in that instance you will contact the artist.

Q: How do I find the studios?

A: Use our printed map or digital version on our website. Studios are clearly signposted during the event with OPEN STUDIO signs. Each artist's profile on our website also has directional links via Google maps on their studio address to help you find them.

Q: Are all studios open every day of the event?

A: Not always. Some artists may only open on certain days. Please refer to the artist listings in the brochure or online to confirm studios hours.

Q: Is parking available at the studios?

A: Parking varies by location. Some studios offer on-site parking, while others may require street parking or nearby car parks.

Q: Is the event accessible to people with disabilities?

A: Accessibility varies depending on the studio. Each listing indicates whether the space is wheelchair accessible. If in doubt, we recommend contacting the artist directly before your visit.

Q: Are children welcome?

A: Yes, children are very welcome, but please ensure they are supervised at all times as studios may contain fragile or hazardous material.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: This is at the discretion of each artist. We recommend leaving pets at home unless the studio listing states that dogs are welcome.
